From Chapter 12 I chose two significant events. One is the publication of anti-slavery book named Uncle Tom’s Cabin and second is Seneca Falls Convention of 1848. These two events are significant because of their breakthrough nature. One was a breakthrough among the slaves who got inspired by the book and second was inspiring for the women who were told to fight for abolitionism and for their rights to vote.
